Plot Synopsis

Created and directed by Alankrita Shrivastava, BOMBAY BEGUMS is a one-hour drama series that centers on five ambitious women from various walks of life as they navigate their dreams, desires, and disappointments in modern Mumbai. The story opens with newly appointed bank CEO Rani trying to thwart a potential scandal, a promotion offer has Fatima torn, and Ayesha attempting to forge ahead after a mistake. On Monday, March 8, 2021 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released the entire six-episode first season of BOMBAY BEGUMS.
