Plot Synopsis

BORN AGAIN VIRGIN, with its all-female writing staff, explores the journey of dating through three 30-something best friends. Jenna, a 34-year-old up-and-coming blogger, decides to become celibate when she finds her body count is starting to trump her age. After a stream of unsuccessful dates and hook-ups leave her wanting more meaningful relationships, she decides to blog about her newly adopted sex-fast and share the sexcapades of her girlfriends. Kelly, an image brand consultant/publicist, is known equally for her success and ratchet taste in men. Her sophista-ratchetness tends to get the best of her, as she is constantly stepping down the career ladder to rescue a struggling man. Tara is a budding actress who splits her time between gigs hanging out with her girls and finding her next suitor to bankroll her celebrity-inspired lifestyle. And just as Jenna is settling into her new found virginity, in comes her new fine-as-wine neighbor Donovan. Single, successful and interested, he makes staying on the right path nearly impossible for Jenna. TV One premiered the one-hour pilot of BORN AGAIN VIRGIN on Friday, February 6, 2015 at 11pm ET/PT, immediately following the 2015 NAACP IMAGE AWARDS. Six months later -- on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 -- TV One aired the official series premiere from 10-11pm ET/PT, showing back-to-back new half-hour episodes. In the premiere (10pm), "No New Friends," Jenna looks for support and joins a Modern Day Virgin group, Tara tests her acting skills, and Kelly learns to get a long with a new employee. Then, in the second episode (10:30pm), "Go Hard or Go Home," Kelly lands a big client for the firm; meanwhile, Jenna works on her blog and Tara tries to create her own reality show. On Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at 9pm ET/PT, TV One debuted the winter premiere of BORN AGAIN VIRGIN. Earlier in the day, TV One broadcast a 4.5-hour catch-up marathon (1:30-6pm) of encore episodes. In the mid-season premiere, "Home, Sweet Old Folks Home," a celebration for Kelly's favorite aunt's 100th birthday turns into a serendipitous encounter with a host of characters including a sweet elderly woman who shares her decade's long love story with Jenna, a retired stage performer who challenges Tara to respect her craft, and Rick, who Kelly seems to think has changed for the better. The rest of the season finds that Jenna has miraculously kept busy blogging about her newly adopted sex-fast and has yet to fall off the wagon. From boys to bosses, best friend Kelly has been frustrated in every way imaginable -- but in true-Kelly fashion, has taken control and launched her own public relations firm successfully. Tara continues to pursue her dream acting gig, but after becoming the leading lady in her new fiance's life, has to reevaluate what role she wants to take center stage in her life. Donovan has taken residence in the friend zone, but as his relationship with Jenna evolves, he realizes their friendship has benefits worth nurturing. TV One aired a sneak-peek episode of BORN AGAIN VIRGIN on Friday, February 5, 2016 at 11:30pm ET/PT, shortly after the 47th NAACP IMAGE AWARDS ended at 11pm. In this new episode, "Sex, Kings and Wigs," Jenna hits it off with a sex addict; Kelly helps Tara prepare for an audition; in order to avoid dealing with her hair, Kelly starts wearing wigs.

BORN AGAIN VIRGIN returned with new episodes on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 8:30pm ET/PT on TV One. In "Mama-Pause," Jenna's mom comes to visit and brings her own brand of crazy, which she later finds out is exacerbated by the onset of menopause. In an effort to escape Jenna's mom, Tara and Kelly seek refuge in Donovan's apartment and worm their way into helping him prepare for his impending trial.
