Plot Synopsis

BOSS HOG is a half-hour reality series that follows Brian 'Pigman' Quaca, as he runs his family-run business -- expanding Pigtime Enterprises and partnering with a local BBQ joint -- while also spending time with his family. In recent years, wild hogs have ravaged Texas, causing an estimated 1.5 billion dollars in agricultural damage annually, and Pigman see an opportunity, making money off every aspect of the pig -- from booking clients on high-end hog hunts and customizing hog hunting bows, to stuffing and mounting trophy boars. Although Pigman's hands are full building a successful business, he spends most days managing his hair-brained staff, including: his dad, Dap, whose main job is running the Pigtime hunting ranch -- but he does it his own way, in stark contrast to the way Pigman wants things done; his teenage son, JD, who is generally the voice of reason amongst all the grown ups and takes a summer job at Pigtime to learn the family business; his best friend, Wes, who is the operations manager at Pigtime, helping to manage the staff and booking clients for hunts; Snag, the shipping clerk at the warehouse, who might be slow to a task but has the loyalty of Pigman; and Kyley, the office manager, who spends most of her days keeping tabs on Pigman and his staff. To further expand Pigtime Enterprises, Pigman has also partnered with local barbeque joint, Wright's BBQ, where Quita handles the day-to-day operations and has helped the eatery serve up delicious BBQ to Texas for the past 50 years.
