Plot Synopsis

Fay Vincent, a former Commissioner of Major League Baseball, interviews baseball legends, allowing them to tell their funniest, most insightful, and most memorable stories about their careers. Each 30-minute episode highlights the career of a single Hall-of-Fame baseball player, mixing these interviews with archival materials and the voice of Tom Brokaw, who introduces and closes each show while narrating historical footage. The baseball legends in this series include: Duke Snider, Bob Feller, Frank Robinson, Buck O'Neil, Warren Spahn, Harmon Killebrew, Robin Roberts, Whitey Ford, Brooks Robinson, Ralph Kiner, Juan Marichal, Yogi Berra, and Larry Doby. The Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown has rights to the series, allowing visitors to watch it there.
