Plot Synopsis

THE BRAXTONS is a one-hour reality series that follows the Braxton women, who reunite for the first time since the loss of their beloved sister, Traci, offering viewers a raw and unfiltered look at the family's highs and lows. Toni, Towanda, Trina, Tamar and Ms. E navigate careers, health challenges and busy personal lives while growing their family bond. Toni faces a critical health challenge as she prepares for her Vegas comeback. Trina starts therapy for PTSD. Towanda battles alopecia. Tamar focuses on her wellness journey. And Ms. E's cooking show dream is becoming a reality. However, the family reuniting continues to bring up questions and unresolved issues. Will Traci's last wish be enough for the family to be close again, as they once were? THE BRAXTONS debuts on Friday, August 9, 2024 at 9:30pm ET/PT on WE tv, preceded by one-hour specials on July 26 and August 2:

"We Love the Braxtons" (special; Friday, July 26, 2024 at 9:30pm): The biggest fans of the show look back and comment on the personal and professional evolution that Toni, Trina, Tamar, Towanda, Traci and Evelyn went through.

"Most Braxt-rageous Moments" (special; Friday, August 2, 2024 at 9:30pm): Fans of the Braxtons take a trip down memory lane and look back on their favorite moments from all seven seasons of BRAXTON FAMILY VALUES. This includes heartfelt, shocking, dramatic, and funny scenes that made up the fabric of the show.

"The Braxtons Are Back!" (series premiere; Friday, August 9, 2024 at 9:30pm): The Braxton family reconnects to honor Traci's last wish to stay together; Toni reveals some major health news ahead of her residency; Traci's son Kevin is going through a divorce that shocks everyone; the family decides to do family grief therapy.
