Plot Synopsis

Sam Calagione -- maverick entrepreneur, family man and owner of Dogfish Head Brewery in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware -- travels the world to experience what every culture brings to its own special brew, sharing stories of beer sub-cultures and learning about the drink's local and national history. Back at the Dogfish Head Brewery, Sam and his creative brewers concoct new taste varieties to recreate and commemorate his travels and special events. Sam travels to Rome to research Old World Italian beers, New Zealand to learn about the first tomato-based beer, and Egypt and Peru to study ancient ales.
