Plot Synopsis

Celebrity stylists Gretta Monahan and Robert Verdi make it their mission to take the worst dressed brides from wild to styled. In each half-hour episode, the bride picks the dress she thinks she wants, while Gretta and Robert pick three dresses they think would flatter her more. As the bride tries on each dress, the stylists propose hairstyles and makeup options that best complement each look. Finally, each bride-to-be selects her winning dress in secret and reveals it to the hosts and her friends and family at the end of the episode. In the series premiere, "From Goth to Glam," 26-year-old goth bride Kristen is at odds with her mom over her wedding day look. Kristen is deadset on a black princess gown, but her mom would like her to wear a more traditional white gown with a high neck to cover her newest tattoo. Brides featured in subsequent episodes include a tomboy, a heavy metal rocker, and a hippie.

On Friday, August 7, 2015 at 9:30pm ET/PT, TLC premiered the season finale of BRIDES GONE STYLED. In the season ender, "Heavy Metal Meets High Fashion," heavy metal singer Nicole wants to wear a wedding dress with a corset, leather, and chains down the aisle, but her family is not on board. Robert and Gretta teach Nicole that she can rock a classic wedding look without losing an edgy style.
