Plot Synopsis

For approximately 10 days in the middle of May, Alaska's toughest fishermen use gillnets and purse seines to harvest herring in the Togiak District, Bristol Bay. Watch as the boats make a final push for their share of the multimillion dollar bounty of herring roe. Discovery aired both parts of this two-part special on the same night.
