Plot Synopsis

Cameras follow actor Bronson Pinchot and his crew of local contractors, as they transform rooms in various neglected old homes and buildings he purchased to restore in the rural city of Harford, Pennsylvania. In the series premiere, Bronson and his crew use salvaged materials to restore the kitchen and gathering room of his Greek Revival house. DIY presented a sneak-peek episode of this series on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 11pm ET, immediately following the Season 2 premiere of THE VANILLA ICE PROJECT, and aired the same episode again as the official series premiere three weeks later. In Season 2, which premiered on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 11pm ET on DIY, Pinchot transforms multiples home and spaces, including: a recreation of a room straight out of George Washington's home, known as the Federal Sitting Room; a salvage operation, where he and his crew take apart a Greek Revival-style home while saving its valuable elements; new construction of a guest house in the south parlor of his much bigger house; an addition on to his house which they affectionately call the Elf House; and many more construction and salvage jobs.
