Plot Synopsis

Jonathan and Drew Scott take their home renovation sibling rivalry on the road to the Big Easy, as they completely renovate side-by-side shotgun-style homes and compete to score the highest property value as determined by a panel of local real estate experts. With just four weeks and $125,000 in their pockets, the stakes are higher than ever as they vie to increase the value of their homes and restore historical gems to their former glory. Each episode, special guests -- Scott Bakula, Hoda Kotb and Ben and Erin Napier -- determine the winner of each week's challenge after the brothers tackle a different space in the homes and work with local artists to bring the rich character of New Orleans into their renovations.

On Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at 9pm ET/PT, HGTV premiered the finale of BROTHERS TAKE NEW ORLEANS. In the finale, Jonathan and Drew's competition to renovate two homes in New Orleans is almost complete as they tackle the exterior of the building together. Once complete, their individual renovation expertise is evaluated when local real estate appraisers and experts come to assess who has added the most value to their home.
