Plot Synopsis

Based on a best-selling children's book series by author Doreen Cronin and illustrator Harry Bliss, BUG DIARIES is a 20-minute animated series for preschoolers that centers on three unlikely bug buddies -- Fly, Spider and Worm -- who fly, spin, and jump into all kinds of adventures in the big world around them. Imagine hopping a ride on a furry dog or dodging raindrops bigger than your house. Using their unique insect abilities, our tiny heroes find ways to help themselves and others out of sticky situations and record their stories in their bug diaries. On Friday, April 12, 2019 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Amazon Prime released the first five episodes of BUG DIARIES.

BUG DIARIES returned with six new episodes on Friday, January 3, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT on Amazon Prime, as Fly, Spider and Worm continue their adventures. In the first episode, "Fly Girl to the Rescue," Fly pretends to be her superhero alter-ego -- Fly Girl -- and goes on a mission to rescue a Dung Beetle's run away home and newborn larvae. It's too big of a job for one super bug so she joins with her friends to form a superhero team to save the day.
