Plot Synopsis

Tyler and Diandra Dickinson, a husband and wife building team, operate Dickinson General Contracting, while living their dream life on the Big Island of Hawaii. The Dickinsons build and renovate Big Island homes so their clients can love living in Hawaii as much as they do. On New Year's Day 2015 (Thursday, January 1) from 11pm-Midnight ET/PT, HGTV premiered back-to-back new episodes of BUILDING HAWAII, but had no other episodes on its schedule at that time. In the night's first sneak-peek, a couple wants to find an empty lot with ocean views, where they can place a home that they can sell in the coming year. Then in the second sneak-peek, Diandra and Tyler build a house on the Big Island, with skylights throughout which will allow them to sleep under the stars.
