Plot Synopsis

George Motz travels across the country to sample America's best burgers. Along the way, he'll visit burger joints that have stood the test of time -- and that he featured in his book, "Hamburger America" -- as well as some newcomers. In each 30-minute episode, Motz visit four restaurants in one region, including Wisconsin (Wedl's Hamburger Stand in Jefferson, WI; Village Bar in Madison, WI; Pete's Hamburgers in Prairie du Chien, WI; and Solly's Grille in Milwaukee, WI) New Jersey (Rossi's Bar & Grill in Trenton, NJ; Hamburgao in Newark, NJ; White Manna in Hackensack, NJ; and White Rose System in Linden, NJ); the greater Los Angeles area (The Apple Pan; Charlie's Coffee Shop; Pie 'n Burger; and Marty's); Miami (El Rey de las Fritas and El Mago de las Fritas; Pincho Factory); and many more burger havens across America. Travel Channel first aired this program at a two-part pilot on Sunday, September 2, 2012 at 7pm ET, showing both episodes back-to-back.
