Plot Synopsis

In each 30-minute episode of BUY LIKE A MEGA MILLIONAIRE, a couple tours three mega-mansions and then selects the one they think is best suited for a multi-millionaire looking for a new home. If they pick the same house the millionaire buys, the couple wins $10,000. In the first episode, a regular couple from Cleveland, Ohio travels to Tucson, Arizona to tour these three homes: a 7,756-square-foot, $7 million-dollar home on East Rock Ledge Place; 13,350-square-foot, $7.9 million-dollar home on North Secret Canyon Drive; and a 25,000-square-foot, $13.9 million home in the Catalina Foothills above Skyline Drive. Then, in the next episode, a regular couple from Colorado searches for a family-friendly luxury estate in sunny San Diego, CA, as they try to find a property with the perfect mix of waterfront amenities, modern architecture, and home-y atmosphere. HGTV aired back-to-back episodes of this series on Sunday, September 14, 2014 from 1-2pm ET/PT, but had no other episodes on its schedule at that time.
