Plot Synopsis

In BUYERS BOOTCAMP, Scott McGillivray teams up with rookie real estate investors to show them how it's done and, for the first time ever, he's paying the renovation bill. In each one-hour episode, two rookie investors pitch Scott their investment property. Scott picks one set of homeowners and their property that he thinks has the best chance of making a profit. Scott offers up his own cash and the new partners work with Scott to get the reno done, all while learning from Scott along the way. After the open house, they find out if they're going to both walk away with extra cash in their pockets. On Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 10pm ET/PT, DIY Network premiered the pilot of BUYERS BOOTCAMP, and the series officially premiered 17 months later on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 10pm ET/PT. In the series opener, "Luxury Victorian vs. Multi-Level Duplex," Craig and Lindsay have an upscale heritage home that requires extensive restoration while Kenson and Charles have an average home with a very unique building opportunity. With two exciting proposals in front of him, Scott must crunch the numbers and decide which one is the safer bet. Being in a brand-new city and unfamiliar market, however, won't make it any easier.
