Plot Synopsis

CABIN TRUCKERS is a half-hour reality series that follows the Kerner family at Wade's House Moving and Heavy Hauling as they haul colossal cabins to remote, picturesque locations, while navigating through extremely rocky, mountainous terrain and delivering precious cargo to homeowners. The owners are made up of Wade and Cathy Kerner, Wade being one of the sons of the original owner, the late Joe Kerner; and Randy and Jaylene LaRose, Jaylene being one of Joe's daughters. The operation site supervisors are Kelly Kerner and Ron Kerner, who are also sons of Joe's, and Kevin Wipf, who has been with the Kerner family for many years. Each 30-minute episode features a different client, including: Ty and Melissa Corbiell, who are moving onto a 300-acre piece of land that has been in the family for generations -- making them the forth generation of Corbiell's to call it home -- and are prepared to transport a 1708-sq. ft., ready-to-move home (RTM) Rancher that was completely designed by Melissa; Collen Cyr, president of the Historical Society in Pincher Creek, who has secured funds and obtained the approval from the Municipality Development and Subdivision Authority to move a 1906 Bank to the Kootenai Brown Pioneer Village; Sue and Tom Marcoux, who own a scenic piece of land 169Km's north on Baptiste Lake and are ready to for the perfect recycled home that Wade and Jaylene found them; Alton and Jessica Puddicombe, who received a call of a lifetime when his neighbor reached out the day of their wedding and offered them his 1932 farmhouse for one dollar and with a limited budget this was a real blessing for the Puddicombe family; and many more people who want to move their homes to a new location. FYI aired the U.S. premiere of this series on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 10pm ET/PT, showing back-to-back episodes.
