CAKETASTROPHE is a half-hour reality series that follows master cake artist Karen Portaleo, who is on a mission to the most infamous and viral wrongs in the history of baking: the world's ugliest cakes. Karen secures the baker a second chance to do right by their clients, but they only have one week to deliver a perfect cake. Will Karen's unconventional and out-of-the-box lessons be enough to turn these bakers from caketastrophes into cake artists? On Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 6pm ET/PT, Food Network premiered the pilot of CAKETASTROPHE, but the cable channel had no other episodes on its schedule at that time. In the pilot, Karen helps baker Lisa Randolph-Gant, who delivered an Elsa cake that was so horrifying that it became a viral laughing stock worldwide, hurting Lisa's business. Now with a second chance, can Lisa deliver the perfect cake?
