Plot Synopsis

Based on the French TV series of the same name, CALLS is a quarter-hour scripted series that chronicles interconnected phone conversations, revealing the mysterious story of a group of strangers whose lives are thrown into disarray in the lead-up to an apocalyptic event. Apple TV+ released the entire nine-episode first season of CALLS on Friday, March 19, 2021:

Episode 1 ("The End): "There's someone outside. / What? / He's in the backyard...This is so scary." Starring: Nicholas Braun, Lily Collins, Karen Gillan.

Episode 2 ("The Beginning"): "What day? / The day you screwed up your life, Mark." Starring: Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Riley Keough, Ben Schwartz, Jennifer Tilly.

Episode 3 ("Pedro Across the Street"): "Long story short, he asked me to pick up a bag from his house. / Who asks for that?" Starring: Mark Duplass, Judy Greer, Pedro Pascal.

Episode 4 ("It's All in Your Head"): "This is gonna sound weird but my arms are stretching and they're getting longer." Starring: Rosario Dawson, Laura Harrier.

Episode 5 ("Me, Myself, and Darlene"): "I just shot her. And I'm calling to turn myself in, so if you wanna send someone down here, I'll wait." Starring: Paul Walter Hauser, Edi Patterson, Paola Nunez.

Episode 6 ("The Universe Did It"): "Last time I saw you, you said you loved me since the 8th grade and you knew you always would." Starring: Nick Jonas, Danny Huston.
