Plot Synopsis

Car gurus Lou Santiago and Jared Zimmerman use high-end performance and aftermarket products to modify, upgrade and repair vehicles. Whether they're adding custom exhaust and rear diffuser to a Z06 Corvette to create a new look or modifying a 1989 Fox Body Mustang GT to shave one second off its 1/4-mile time, Lou and Jared work on a single project in each 30-minute episode. Season 2, which premiered on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 11am ET, featured the boys crashing an event in Las Vegas, fixing the brakes on a rare Cadillac, and much more. Plus, Jared went to Nebraska to help assemble a masterpiece to contend for the Ridler Award.

CAR FIX returned for its third season on Friday, July 18, 2014 at 8:30pm ET/PT on Velocity, with Lou using social media to find the guys' next project, a 1970 Buick Skylark with a burn tranny.

Season 5 of CAR FIX premiered on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 11am ET/PT on Velocity. In the season opener, "Dyno Tuned Porsche," Jared and Lou completely re-engineer the exhaust system and bolt on a new Turbo to make a 1979 Porsche 930 faster -- and better looking -- with almost 500 horsepower.

The eleventh season of CAR FIX debuted on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 11am ET/PT on MotorTrend Network. In the season opener, "Bumpin' Maverick," the guys take a trip back to the '90s with an all-new Ford Maverick. Jeremy shows off some custom nostalgia paint, and the guys build an extreme speaker box and competition sound system to get this Maverick bumpin' like trucks did back in the day.
CAR FIX returned for its 12th season on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 11am ET/PT on MotorTrend Network and earlier in the day on MotorTrend On Demand. In the season opener, "MegaRexx MegaRaptor," Fuller and Bumpus fabricate a desert-style spare tire carrier for the massive MegaRexx MegaRaptor truck. The 46-inch tire weighs a ton, and they show how to design and fabricate using the latest tools and equipment.
