Plot Synopsis

Two eight-member teams have 48 hours (Season 2) or 72 hours (Season 1) to transform identical primered junkers into beautifully customized American car classics. In each episode of Season 1, a team of All Stars faced off against a new team as they planned, designed, deconstructed, prepared, painted, wired, tuned, and finally finished an incredible custom vehicle. For Season 2, two new teams compete against each other in the Ultimate Garage in each episode, with each team assigned a Lead Technician to provide guidance and support. The competitors for the first season include: Southern Fried D'Lite from Texas, who creates a muscle car; SKJ Customs from St. George, Utah, who finishes a luxury car; Danny D. Customs from Phoenix, Arizona, who transforms a pickup truck. Season 2 teams include: United Hot Rods from Downey, CA; Krazy Kreations from Denver, CO; Street Customs & Restoration from Mooresville, NC; and SPG Customs from Philadelphia, PA.
