Plot Synopsis

Inspired by the classic video game series of the same name, CASTLEVANIA is a half-hour animated medieval fantasy series that follows the last surviving member of the disgraced Belmont clan, trying to save Eastern Europe from extinction at the hand of Vlad Dracula Tepe himself. The series opens with a headstrong young woman seeking out forbidden knowledge, and a corrupt bishop courting disaster by enraging a legend. On Friday, July 7, 2017 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released the four-episode first season of CASTLEVANIA.

Netflix released the eight-episode second season of CASTLEVANIA on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT. In the season opener, "War Council," Dracula entrusts a deadly -- and personal -- mission with two humans who truly hate humanity, not knowing that he himself has become a target.

Season 3 of CASTLEVANIA premiered on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, as Netflix released all 10 episodes of the new season. Belmont and Sypha settle into a village with sinister secrets, Alucard mentors a pair of admirers, and Isaac embarks on a quest to locate Hector.
CASTLEVANIA returned for its 10-episode fourth and final season on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT on Netflix. Dracula's influence looms large as Belmont and Sypha investigate plans to resurrect the notorious vampire. Alucard struggles to embrace his humanity.
