Plot Synopsis

Four Atlanta-based catering companies bid against each other for events posted on caterbid.com, as they battle for business and then work to fulfill their customers' demands. The battle begins when an event is posted online and the caterers' strategic bids come in fast and furious to cook up their next job, as they often underbid each other by as little as one dollar. But if they drop their price too low, they have to think outside the box and deal with their clients' outrageous requests, all while trying to maximize their margins and turn a profit. Plus, they deal with the everyday trials and tribulations of running a catering company -- hiring and firing employees, searching for quality ingredients, and finding the perfect finishing touches -- while balancing their careers with their personal lives. Each 60-minute episode follows these catering companies fulfill orders for four events, such as a circus event, weddings, a high-end Botox party, or an authentic Civil War re-enactment. The catering companies are: Hottie Hawgs BBQ, headed up the eccentric white-tuxedo-wearing Boss Hawg (aka Kyle Vaughn); Pat's Party Perfect, run by Pat Jackson with her two daughters; Ocean Catering Company, led by chef Shane McIntosh; and Atlanta's Finest Catering, the 81-family-member machine run by matriarch Lorie Bomar.
