Plot Synopsis

Undercover store detectives use hidden cameras to expose shoplifters, revealing outlandish schemes and outrageous lies and alibis when the crooks are confronted with their crimes. Whether they claim they're a secret agent in flip-flops or trying to hide a fifth of tequila down a pair of pants, these criminals try to weasel their way out of jams with pleas of innocence when they're caught red-handed. Each of the first two 30-minute episodes focused on a different location, including: Flemingtons, a New Jersey department store; and HOWS Markets, a high-end supermarket in Los Angeles. On Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at 9pm ET, truTV aired back-to-back preview episodes of this program, and more than eight months later, on Monday, November 5, 2012 at 10pm ET, the network presented the official series premiere of CAUGHT RED HANDED.
