Plot Synopsis

Recording mogul Kelly Rowland, a founding member of Destiny's Child, goes on a quest to find the next big female superstar group. With the help of a creative genius and industry vet, Frank Gatson, she meets young talented females to hear them sing and help them chase their destiny of super stardom. In the second episode, Kelly and Frank choose their Top 15 ladies to come to LA and get to work. The series cast singers, dancers, and entertainers who were not already signed to a record deal and who were available to shoot in Los Angeles from November 2015 to March 2016.

On Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at 10pm ET/PT, BET premiered the season finale of CHASING DESTINY. In the season ender, "All of Us," Kelly's girl group -- Ashley, Brienna, Gabby, Kristal, and Shyann -- has a few days to prepare for their first major music industry showcase, but first they must wrestle with saying goodbye to their old lives.
