Plot Synopsis

CHASING THE SATURDAYS follows a five-woman British pop group, The Saturdays, as they take up residence in Los Angeles to help them hit the charts in America. The Saturdays have had eleven Top 10 singles in the UK and three Top 10 UK albums, while also dominating the UK media with their high-profile romances and edgy fashion sense. Now, they're ready for their next challenge, as they move to the United States to work on their fourth album and to take over American play lists. As soon as The Saturdays arrive in Los Angeles, they immediately head into the recording studio to begin working on their new album, the first to be released internationally. Plus, they shoot the music video for their first American single, "What About Us," featuring the Grammy-winning reggae artist Sean Paul. The girls also debut the song for the first time at a Hollywood hot spot, as well as perform a set at an exclusive VMA after-party hosted by Perez Hilton. But living in America isn't all work and no play, as the girls are quick to learn when they make head-turning appearances at New York Fashion Week, let loose at the Los Angeles County Fair and perform to a sold out crowd at the historic The Roxy in Hollywood. The Saturdays are: Mollie King, a girly-girl fashionista, who is the only single member of the band, prompting the others to be continuously on the hunt to help her find her Mr. Right; Frankie Sandford, formerly of the group S Club Juniors, who is a prankster with a devilish sense of humor and has been steadily dating hunky Manchester City soccer star, Wayne Bridge; Vanessa White, the youngest member of The Saturdays and the party girl of the group, who is a sweet and sassy pocket-sized diva with her fair share of heartache, especially when her relationship with her boyfriend hits a rough patch; Una Healy, the only one in the band not a native Londoner, who is a proud Irish lass recently married to -- and now missing -- the handsome England national rugby union player, Ben Foden, and her just-born baby girl; and Rochelle Humes, another former member of S Club Juniors, who is a total shopoholic and a hopeless romantic, having just married Marvin Humes of the boy-band JLS.
