Plot Synopsis

CHIP AND POTATO is a preschool animated series that follows a loveable pug and her mouse BFF as they start kindergarten, welcome new siblings and learn to become part of their community. Chip is a friendly, curious and big-hearted 4-year-old pug who always has her secret friend, Potato, a teeny tiny mouse by her side. As Chip takes her first steps towards independence, Potato is there to discreetly provide Chip with all the comfort and confidence she needs to embark on the new stages of her life. The series had its world premiere as a one-week event, with new episodes airing daily at 7am ET from Monday, October 15 through Friday, October 19, 2018. Seven months later -- on Friday, May 17, 2019 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT -- CHIP AND POTATO had its U.S. premiere, as Netflix released the entire first season, released as ten 30-minute episodes. Each episode features two stories.

On Friday, November 29, 2019 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released the 10-episode second season of CHIP AND POTATO. This season, Chip faces changes as she welcomes a baby sibling and starts an after-school program -- with her secret pal Potato by her side. In the season opener, "Police Pug Chip; Pumpkin Picking Chip," it's bring-your-kid-to-work day, and Chip heads to the police station with Poppa; later, Chip and Spud compete in a pumpkin-picking contest.

The entire six-episode third season of CHIP AND POTATO dropped on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 on Netflix. Chip's learning even more about the great, big world with a little help from Potato -- from getting her first haircut to getting on her first airplane! In the season opener, "Fairground Chip; Chip, Meet Mrs. Whale," Chip and pals find fun, adventure -- and important lessons -- at the Happyton Fair; school's a lot different when a substitute steps in for Mr. Diggerty.

On Monday, June 27, 2022, Netflix released "Chip's Holiday," a 24-minute CHIP AND POTATO special. When falling coconuts keep everyone awake all night on vacation, Chip and Potato come up with a plan to help the family get a puggy good night's sleep! Voice cast include: Abigail Journey Oliver, Andrea Libman, Briana Buckmaster, Brian Dobson, and Chance Hurstfield.
