Plot Synopsis

Inside his restaurant, Garde-Manger, in the heart of Old Montreal, Chuck Hughes serves up rustic dishes for his family, friends and business partners -- "all the people that make this restaurant a success." That's right. You'll get to meet the bread guy, waitresses, fish monger, and dishwashers as Chuck shows his appreciation to the people he sees "every day -- more than I see my family." Plus, you'll get a peek at a typical rock 'n roll day as Chuck runs one of the city's hottest restaurants. When the Cooking Channel debuted in the United States, the network aired CHUCK'S DAY OFF as its first program on Monday, May 31, 2010 at 7am with back-to-back episodes.
