Plot Synopsis

Based on true events, THE CLAREMONT MURDERS is a two-part crime drama that depicts one of Australia's longest and most complex police investigations. After three young women -- Sarah, Jane, and Ciara -- vanish from the same Perth suburb following nights on the town, detectives realize they're dealing with a serial killer and put together a special task force, launching what would become a decades-long pursuit of justice. THE CLAREMONT MURDERS made its U.S. debut with both installments on Monday, January 29, 2024 on Acorn TV.

Part 1: Three young women disappear over the course of a year after nights out partying in the Claremont suburb of Perth, and the police form Taskforce Macro to investigate a possible serial killer on the prowl.

Part 2: A decade after Sarah Spiers went missing and Taskforce Macro was disbanded, the next generation of forensics officers reopen the case with a new focus: follow the evidence, not the suspect. Detective Wyatt fights hard to be part of the investigation.
