Plot Synopsis

Created and written by showrunner and lead director Kagiso Lediga, CLASSIFIED is a one-hour coming-of-age drama series that follows rebellious teenager Ella as she is uprooted from her home in Oakland, California and forced to move in with her estranged father in Johannesburg, South Africa. Upon arrival, Ella's world is turned upside down as she navigates a very different reality than what she has known -- one full of mansions, elite private schools, and secrets around every corner. Ella immediately plots her escape back home, only to find herself in the clutches of her mysterious and powerful stepmother. All eight episodes of CLASSIFIED dropped on Prime Video and Freevee on Thursday, August 22, 2024.
