Plot Synopsis

CLEANING UP is a one-hour drama series that centers on Sam Cook, a cleaner at Kramer Lowe, a financial company in Canary Wharf. Struggling to get by on her zero-hour contract with Xenco Clean, she is drowning in debt, addicted to gambling, and faces her ex-husband Dave trying to get full-time custody of their two daughters -- 8-year-old Lily and 15-year-old Alice. After overhearing a stockbroker who is being blackmailed into insider trading, she plunges herself into a shady world of finance. But when Sam's money-making plan starts to bear fruit, it's not long before complications arise. CLEANING UP had its U.S. premiere on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, as SundanceNow debuted the first episode. A new episode debuts each Thursday through February 4, 2021.
