Plot Synopsis
Inspired by the CMT digital series of the same name, CMT CAMPFIRE SESSIONS is a half-hour, weekly music series that features artists performing their hits by a campfire under the stars. To open the series, CMT debuted back-to-back new episodes on Thursday, June 10, 2021 from 9-10pm ET/PT:
"Jack Ingram, Miranda Lambert, Jon Randall" (9pm): Jack Ingram, Miranda Lambert & Jon Randall trade stories and songs under the stars from their newly-released project, The Marfa Tapes, including hits "Tin Man," "Two-Step Down to Texas," "Amazing Grace (West Texas)" and "In His Arms."
"Kane Brown" (9:30pm): Kane Brown leads a jam session with trio Restless Road for equal parts impromptu performance and a showcase of Brown's biggest hits, including "Lose It," "Worship You" and their collaboration, "Take Me Home."

"Brothers Osborne" (June 17, 2021 from 9-9:30pm): Brothers Osborne gather around the campfire to perform bluegrass versions of their turns "I'm Not for Everyone," "Hatin' Somebody," "Dead Man's Curve," and more from the album Skeletons.
"Lady A" (June 24, 2021 from 9-9:30pm): Lady A gets cozy around the campfire to perform acoustic versions of their hits "Need You Now," "Like a Lady," "Let It Be Love" and more.
"Covers" (July 1, 2021 from 9-10pm): Brothers Osborne, Kelsea Ballerini, Trisha Yearwood and more perform acoustic renditions of classic songs including "On the Road Again," "Dreams" and "When Will I Be Loved."
"Kelsea Ballerini" (July 8, 2021 from 9-9:30pm): Kelsea Ballerini tells stories about her songwriting process and joins her band to perform "Peter Pan," "hole in the bottle," "homecoming queen?" and "half of my hometown."
"Keb' Mo'" (July 15, 2021 from 9-9:30pm): Keb' Mo' and his band perform "I Don't Know," "Oklahoma," "Old Me Better" and "Sunny and Warm" while musing about married life and growing older.
"Trisha Yearwood" (July 22, 2021 from 9-9:30pm): Trisha Yearwood and friends collaborate on her biggest hits and share stories around a campfire, where they perform acoustic versions of "She's In Love With The Boy" and "Ran Into You."
"Little Big Town" (April 12, 2022 from 8-9pm): Little Big Town bring their guitars and sit around the campfire to perform acoustic versions of "Girl Crush," "Pontoon" and "Boondocks" around a campfire.
"Jason Aldean" (July 15, 2022 from 10-11pm): Country superstar Jason Aldean performs stripped down versions of #1 hits "Dirt Road Anthem" and "You Make It Easy," alongside new music from his album "Georgia" for an intimate night swapping stories and songs with friends around the campfire.
"Brandy Clark" (July 22, 2022 from 10-11pm): Singer-songwriter Brandy Clark is joined by friends around the campfire to swap stories and perform stripped down versions of her biggest hits, including "Mama's Broken Heart" and "Who You Thought I Was."
"Clay Walker & Tracy Lawrence" (July 29, 2022 from 10-11pm): Fresh off a co-headlining tour, buddies Clay Walker and Tracy Lawrence sing their signature songs like "Sticks and Stones" and "What's It to You," and back each other up as bandmates.
"Old Dominion" (August 5, 2022 from 10-11pm): Old Dominion gets together with Matt Jenkins and Josh Osborne on the front porch to play acoustic versions of their songs "Make It Sweet," "I Was on a Boat That Day," "Hotel Key" and more.
"Brett Eldredge" (August 12, 2022 from 10-11pm): The country crooner invited his bandmates and frequent co-writers to gather around a blazing fire to swap stories and share stripped-back versions of their chart-topping hits. Brett will display his buttery baritone vocals with 2017 single "The Long Way" and encourage viewers to groove to the "Beat of the Music." Plus, the Nashville artist will introduce new tracks "Where The Light Meets The Sea," "Hideaway," "Holy Water," and "I Feel Fine" with a down-to-earth twist.
"Old Crow Medicine Show" (Friday, August 19, 2022 from 10-11pm): Grammy Award-winning modern American roots band Old Crow Medicine Show headlines. Joined by a pair of friends and collaborators -- Sara Evans and Carlos Deford Bailey -- the group of acclaimed musicians all gather fireside for an intimate night of music and story swaps, stripping back some classic Old Crow songs and new music, including "Take 'Em Away," "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry," "Bombs Away" and the band's fan-favorite hit, "Wagon Wheel."
"Jon Pardi" (Friday, August 26, 2022 from 10-11pm): Jon Pardi is joined by his band The All-Nighters around the fire for stripped down versions of hits including "Heartache on The Dance Floor" and "Dirt on My Boots."
"Covers" (Friday, September 9, 2022 from 10-11pm ET/PT): Brandy Clark ("Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow"); Brett Eldredge ("I Can't Make You Love Me"); Clay Walker ("Amarillo By Morning"); Jason Aldean ("Heaven"); Jon Pardi ("I Wanna Dance With Somebody"); Old Crow Medicine Show ("You Ain't Going Nowhere"); Old Dominion ("Learn to Fly"); and Tracy Lawrence ("In Color") perform their favorite cover songs around the campfire.
"Christmas Edition 2023" (Wednesday, December 6, 2023 from 9-10pm ET/PT): CMT's Next Women of Country, Brittany Spencer, Caitlyn Smith, Priscilla Block and Tenille Townes, gather around the campfire to share stories and perform stripped down renditions of new and classic, Christmas songs to kick off the holiday season.
"Chris Young" (Friday, January 12, 2024 from 10-11pm ET/PT): Grammy nominee Chris Young gathers around the campfire with his band and buddies, Mitchell Tenpenny and Chris DeStafano, to talk about his songs and perform his biggest hits like "Gettin' You Home," "Famous Friends" and "At The End Of A Bar."
