Plot Synopsis

Eighteen years after ABC's COACH ended, this half-hour comedy picks up the story with Coach Hayden Fox and his son, who he and Christine adopted toward the end of the series. Now retired, Hayden is called to become assistant coach to his own grown son, who is the new head coach at an Ivy league school in Pennsylvania that is just starting up a new team. Craig T. Nelson will reprise his role as Hayden in this new series, which was given a straight-to-series 13-episode order by NBC.
