Plot Synopsis

Fueled by his own rough upbringing, Snoop Dogg creates a youth football league to keep at-risk kids off the streets and focused on their goals. This half-hour, eight-episode reality series follows Snoop as the head coach of the Steelers, a team of 13-year old boys. His team travels the nation, playing other teams in hopes of winning the youth football National Championship. Last year, they lost the title in the closing seconds of the game. This series opens with Snoop explaining his coach persona and why he started SYFL. A mom questions the methods of K-Mac, who later gets into an argument on the team's flight. Players J-Roc and Aaron talk about the pain of losing family members. Snoop's Steelers travel to Dallas to face one of the top teams in the nation. COACH SNOOP continues the story of the 2016 AOL.com web series of the same name. On Friday, February 2, 2018 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released all eight episodes of this series.
