Plot Synopsis

Set in the world of French haute couture just after World War II, THE COLLECTION is a one-hour drama series that focuses on an illustrious Paris fashion house, emerging from the dark days of the Occupation, now ushering in a new golden age of design and business. This family saga, centered on two very different brothers, exposes the grit behind the glamour and the treachery beneath the trappings of this empire -- and all who work there. The atelier staff survived one war, but others loom; rivalries and romances pitting family against family, proteges against mentors, the past against the future. The series opens with the Maison being a hive of activity and under pressure to create the Spring show, yet Claude is not creating and Nina is focused on finding her child. US journalist Rossi returns to question Paul's former boss and mentor, forcing Paul to punish those he loves.
