Plot Synopsis

Hosted by Mike Catherwood and Nina Terrero, THE COLLECTIVE is a weekly, two-hour series that features DJs and celebrity tastemakers offering their personal music picks of the week, while sharing what's trending in music, fashion, style, live events, viral videos, and more. In the series premiere -- which included segments with Walter Thurmond, League of Starz, and Hudson -- Manwell Reyes hung with LaLa Romero, who showed off her music and clothing designs. This series features a group of DJs and tastemakers, including: Anthony Valadez, a radio host anchoring Monday nights on Los Angeles' KCRW, who holds residencies at Zanzibar, The Sayers Club and Dublab.com; Karli Henriquez, a correspondent for KIIS-FM in Los Angeles, who hosts MTV Tr3s' Top 20 countdown and stars in reality series KARLIFORNIA; DJ Skee, host of AXS TV's SKEE LIVE, who oversees Skee.TV, which is one of the most viewed channels on YouTube; Yesi Ortiz, host and Assistant Music Director at Power 106 in Los Angeles, who stars in the reality series SINGLE WITH 7; Raquel 'Raq-C' Cordova, The Queen of Spanglish Media, who has starred in a Jenni Rivera reality series and contributes to Latina.com; Raul Campos, host of a 3-6pm weekend show on KCRW in Los Angeles, who was the voice of pirate radio in the mid-'90s; Grace Parra, a sitcom writer and comedian, who has gained popularity with her web series and commercials; Cecilia 'Cecilia The Mamacita' Valencia, host of the Sunday night show on SoCal's Latino 96.3, whose voice is featured in Grand Theft Auto 5; and Manwell Reyes, the front man for Group 1 Crew, who moved to Los Angeles in 2009 where he resides with his wife, actress/comedian Anjelah Johnson. THE COLLECTIVE is co-executive produced by Jennifer Lopez.
