Plot Synopsis

Set in the very near future, COLONY centers on one family's struggle to survive and bring liberty back to the people of an occupied Los Angeles, taking place in a dangerous world of divided ideologies. While some choose to collaborate with the occupation and benefit from the new order, others rebel and suffer the consequences. After being separated from their middle son during the invasion, Will and Katie Bowman are willing to do whatever is necessary to be reunited with him. Thus, when the powerful Proxy Snyder offers Will a chance to get his son back if he will collaborate with the occupational government, Will and Katie find themselves faced with the toughest decision of their lives. They will have to go beyond whatever they thought possible, risking their lives and their relationship to protect their family. After attempting a daring rescue, Will's first day working for the enemy brings unforeseen challenges; meanwhile, Kate tries to help a relative in need before receiving her first assignment. At Comic-Con 2015 in San Diego, executive producer and creator Carlton Cuse announced that Carl Weathers, Kathy Baker, Kathleen Rose Perkins, and Paul Guilfoyle all guest star in the first season. On Monday, December 21, 2015 at 11:05pm ET/PT, USA Network premiered "Behind the Wall," a half-hour special that takes an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at COLONY, including cast interviews and never-before-seen special effects footage from the Los Angeles set. Season 2 of COLONY premiered on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 10pm ET/PT on USA Network. In an effort to get their son back, Will has been cooperating with the Collaborators and now knows about his wife Katie's alliance with the Resistance. With her secret out, and now finding themselves on opposite sides of the battle, have they jeopardized any hope reuniting their family? In the season opener, "Eleven.Thirteen," Will and Katie struggle to keep their family together in a changing city. Broussard returns home. Snyder gets an intriguing job offer from a mysterious organization. The 13-episode third and final season of COLONY premiered on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 10pm ET/PT on USA Network. Season 3 begins six months after the Bowmans' escape from the Los Angeles bloc as Will and Katie struggle to rebuild their family in the world beyond the walls. The Bowmans and Snyder are enjoying a simple life in the mountains -- until a sudden arrival changes everything. When their peaceful existence is shattered, they are sent on an odyssey that will finally reveal the horrifying truth behind Earth's mysterious occupiers and once again force our heroes to choose sides.

On Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 10pm ET/PT, USA Network premiered the series finale of COLONY. In the series ender, "What Goes Around," Will makes a sacrifice to protect his family. Katie races to save refugees outside the walls. Snyder struggles to control a Colony amidst the chaos of war. Bram and Gracie make a big decision.
