Plot Synopsis

COMBAT PAWN follows the staff at Guns Plus, a unique pawn store that specializes in weapons and military-inspired collectables that is located next to the legendary Fort Bragg military base. This pawn shop is staffed mostly by military veterans, including an ex-Marine and a Special Ops soldier, who have first-hand knowledge of the rare and collectible weapons that come through the doors on a daily basis and who can swap stories with the thousands of soldiers, as well as their proud families, friends and supporters, shopping at Guns Plus. The staff includes: Chris, the son of a 30-year Army veteran serving in Vietnam, who has owned and operated Guns Plus for almost 14 years, starting at a smaller location in a strip mall, where he was the only employee; Martin, the manager of Guns Plus for more than 10 years, who tends to rule with an iron fist, which sometimes causes friction with the rest of the Guns Plus staff, but is easily one of the best gun salesmen; Bernard, a senior salesmen at Guns Plus, who is one of the East Coast's leading tactical knife fighting expert, a former Ranger and Green Beret, and an expert on all sorts of weaponry with more than 1,000 published articles; Ethan, a part-time employee while putting himself through college, who was a Marine serving four years in Iraq in artillery, which makes him an expert in big weapons; Josh, a salesman and the resident gunsmith, who is known as a "Redneck MacGyver" because he can fix almost anything with the most minimal of tools, using his intelligence and know-how to get the job done; and Marvin, Chris' best friend, who volunteers at the store, causing friction between him and Martin.
