Plot Synopsis

Conan O'Brien returns to late night TV -- this time on cable -- to host his new daily (Mon-Thu) talk show in front of a small studio audience from Stage 15 at Warner Bros. Studios in Los Angeles. Andy Richter rejoins Conan as his sidekick and announcer while Jimmy Vivino leads The Basic Cable Band. Fans voted in an online poll and selected Seth Rogen to be Conan's first guest.
Season 9 of CONAN premiered on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 11pm ET/PT on TBS, debuting with its new 30-minute format, which focuses on "silly remote pieces, interviewing brilliant and distinct people," according to O'Brien during the last hour-long episode in October 2018. Conan's longtime house band, Jimmy Vivino & The Basic Cable Band, is no longer part of the new format.

For the first week back, because of Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, CONAN airs only three nights (Tue-Thu), featuring these scheduled guests:

Tuesday, January 22: Tom Hanks

Wednesday, January 23: The cast of THE GOOD PLACE starring Kristen Bell, William Jackson Harper, Jameela Jamil, D'Arcy Carden and Manny Jacinto

Thursday, January 24: Bill Hader

The following week, CONAN begins its regular schedule, airing four nights (Mon-Thu) each week, with these guests schedule for the first full week of the new season:

Monday, January 28: Tig Notaro

Tuesday, January 29: Gina Rodriguez

Wednesday, January 30: Pete Holmes

Thursday, January 31: Matt LeBlanc and comedian Gary Gulman
