Plot Synopsis

A mediator brings together a victim and the offender so that the two can dialogue with each other, helping both sides to confront their pain -- not each other -- and attempt to move on. Each one-hour episode follows the entire mediation process from beginning to end -- how each side emotionally prepares, how the two sides interact as they deal with the pain of reliving the event, and how each side responds after confronting their pain. Oprah Winfrey Network aired a sneak peek of this series on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 10pm ET. In this sneak peek episode, Lisa has a face-to-face meeting with the young woman who killed her son eight years earlier in a drunk-driving accident on her son's prom night.
