Plot Synopsis

CONTRABAND: SEIZED AT THE BORDER is a one-hour docuseries that focuses on America's Customs and Border Protection agency. In the series opener, "Babies, Hard Drugs and Carrots," a woman is investigated for smuggling a baby; officers find packets filled with cocaine, meth, and heroin in carrots -- indicating gang involvement; two young women are caught smuggling pills; a wanted man triggers an alert. Then, in the next episode, "Deadly Cargo," officers discover firearms that may be intended for a Mexican drug lord and a load of Fentanyl hidden in an ice cream freezer; a truck driver transporting puppies is under scrutiny, and a wanted woman is detained in Brownsville.

Season 2 of CONTRABAND: SEIZED AT THE BORDER debuted on Monday, October 16, 2023 at 9pm ET/PT on Discovery Channel. In the season opener, "Cross-Border Smuggling," a man returning from Mexico requires emergency Narcan after a suspected opioid overdose; an unlikely family is caught trying to smuggle firearms into Mexico; a woman attempting to sneak prescription meds into the U.S. is caught red-handed.

The third season of CONTRABAND: SEIZED AT THE BORDER debuted on Monday, April 15, 2024 at 9pm ET/PT on Discovery Channel. In the season opener, "Lime and Punishment," a man crosses with something that fell from the sky - literally- as well as the remains of a federally protected animal. Officers find a stay-at-home mom who may have a side hustle dealing pills and a shipment of limes arrives with an extra surprise.
