Plot Synopsis

Hosted by super fangirl Yvette Nicole Brown, COSPLAY MELEE is a one-hour competition series that features four of the world's most innovative cosplayers going head to head in each episode. Each week, four world class cosplayers compete to create not only intricate full-body costumes -- but fully-formed characters that they must bring to life through their own realistic performance. Guiding and critiquing them are a panel of judges including world class cosplayer LeeAnna Vamp, and costume creator Christian Beckman. At the end of every episode, the winner walks away with $10,000 and the right to claim cosplay supremacy. In the series opener, "A Night at the Space Opera," the cosplayers must create an original character inspired by their favorite space operas.

On Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 10pm ET/PT, Syfy premiered the season finale of COSPLAY MELEE. In the season ender, "Animelee," the cosplayers must create an original character inspired by their favorite anime.
