Plot Synopsis

A cast of commentators -- including movie experts Leonard Maltin and Richard Roeper, as well as AP Movie Critic Christy Lemire -- count down the best, worst, and craziest in movies and pop culture, with a variety of actors, comedians and pop-culture experts providing witty banter. Each week, THE COUNTDOWN focuses on a different movie theme, including: "Kick-Ass Fight Scenes," with scenes from THE MATRIX, KILL BILL and more; "Shoulda Won Best Picture," highlighting the top ten movies that should have won the Oscar for Best Picture -- and didn't; "Girl On Girl Scenes," seen in BLACK SWAN, WILD THINGS, THE HUNGER, HENRY AND JUNE, CRUEL INTENTIONS, and THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO; and many more.
