Plot Synopsis

Each year since 1967, the Country Music Association (CMA) has annually honored the best in country music. The first ceremony, then known as the CMA AWARDS BANQUET AND SHOW, was held in 1967, and the CMA AWARDS were broadcast the following year for the first time by NBC. NBC telecast the event for four years, with CBS taking over for a 34-year run from 1972-2005. The CMA AWARDS have aired on ABC since 2006.

The 52nd Annual CMA AWARDS airs live from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN on ABC on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 from 8-11pm ET (live)/8-11pm PT (tape delay). Country superstars Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood preside over the evening, returning as hosts for the eleventh consecutive year. Scheduled performers include: Lauren Alaina, Jason Aldean with Miranda Lambert, Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley with Brothers Osborne, Garth Brooks, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Dan + Shay, Florida Georgia Line with Bebe Rexha, Midland, Kacey Musgraves, Old Dominion, Brad Paisley, Pistol Annies, Thomas Rhett, Ricky Skaggs, Chris Stapleton with Maren Morris and Mavis Staples, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban and Brett Young. Special appearances include Lindsay Ell, Vince Gill, Sierra Hull, Chris Janson, Ashley McBryde, David Lee Murphy, Jon Pardi, Carson Peters, Marty Stuart, and Cole Swindell. Presenters include Jimmie Allen, Bobby Bones, Kane Brown, Sharna Burgess, Olivia Culpo, Mackenzie Foy, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Dustin Lynch, Martina McBride, Carly Pearce, Dennis Quaid, Lionel Richie, Noah Schnapp, Rita Wilson and Trisha Yearwood.

THE CMA AWARDS: ALL ACCESS offers viewers exclusive access to Country Music's Biggest Night. Country music artist Kellie Pickler and television personality Ben Aaron, along with Kelly Sutton, host this year's show, which streams on ABC's YouTube channel (http://www.youtube.com/abc) and at CMAawards.com, beginning with the red-carpet stream at 6:30pm ET/3:30pm PT on Wednesday, November 14.
