Plot Synopsis
Executive produced by host Dan Abrams, COURT CAM is a half-hour series that gives viewers a front row seat to some of the most wild, unruly and outrageous courtroom moments recently caught on tape. Each 30-minute episode includes interviews with judges, witnesses, and victims who give a first-hand account of what really happened during these intense courtroom moments. This comprehensive look at how the action unfolds allows viewers to sit in the courtroom as Abrams guides them through crazy courtroom moments -- from the most high-profile trials to minor court proceedings. "I have covered trials for my entire career, and even I was stunned by many of these remarkable courtroom moments... then getting to talk to the people involved from heroes to victims was as enlightening as it was humbling," said Abrams about the new program.
Season 2 of COURT CAM premiered on Thursday, July 16, 2020 from 10-11pm ET/PT, as A&E debuted back-to-back new episodes. In the season opener, a Russian man who has been convicted of murder attempts an escape from a high-security courtroom; and a judge goes off on a disrespectful defendant; thieves drive a truck into the lobby of a Texas courthouse. Then, in the night's second new episode, an emotional trial leads to a brawl outside a Massachusetts courthouse; a defendant assaults his own attorney; and the mother of a murder victim forgives her son's killer.
The third season of COURT CAM debuted on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 from 9-10pm ET/PT on A&E. This season chronicles some of the most stunning and emotional courtroom moments caught on camera from the most high-profile trials around the country. Paired with interviews with judges, witnesses, bystanders, and victims, Abrams gives viewers a firsthand look at some of the most startling courtroom moments. In the first two episodes of Season 3: a former child actor loses his cool in court; a man with 40 kids steps up to the bench; a convict attempts to grab the gun of a court officer (9pm); a distraught family member seeks revenge for his nephew's murder; a mouthy defendant talks his way right into jail; a drunken lawyer tries to slur his way out of trouble and fails; and more (9:30pm).
On Wednesday, July 14, 2021 from 9-10pm ET/PT, A&E premiered the fourth season of COURT CAM, debuting back-to-back new episodes: At 9pm, a wanted man attempts a daring courthouse escape; a desperate defendant appeals to a much higher power; and a judge catches a peeping Tom; and more. Then, at 9:30pm, a spit guard and shackles can't contain the rage of a convicted felon told he's going to jail for life; devastated family members seek justice in court by any means necessary; an angry former college professor is given a high voltage lesson in courtroom security; and more. After a 2.5-month break, COURT CAM returned with new Season 4 episodes on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from 9-10pm ET/PT, as A&E debuted back-to-back installments.
On Wednesday, March 30, 2022 from 9-10pm ET/PT, A&E premiered back-to-back episodes for the Season 5 debut of COURT CAM. The season opener at 9pm features a former stripper and porn actor shoots up a Trump hotel in Florida; an Alabama courtroom erupts after a shocking verdict; a Sovereign Citizen smackdown; and more. Then, the season's second episode at 9:30pm includes a suspected murderer is attacked in court by another suspected murderer; a desperate courtroom escape attempt; a violent convict assaults his lawyer; and more. After a five-month break, COURT CAM returned with back-to-back new episodes on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 from 9-10pm ET/PT on A&E. The 9pm episode features a defendant announces college baseball scores during his murder trial; a man facing drug charges gets caught smoking marijuana in the virtual courtroom; a domestic violence suspect threatens a judge. Then, the 9:30pm installment includes a road rage suspect attacks a bailiff in court; a grieving mother screams at the hit-and-run driver who killed her daughter; a jury bungles the sentencing phase of a murder trial.
Season 6 of COURT CAM debuted with back-to-back new episodes on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 from 9-10pm ET/PT on A&E. In the season opener (9pm), an angry defendant flips off the judge during a virtual hearing; a victim is cross-examined by her accused attacker; a man guilty of vehicular homicide begs his 9-year-old victim's family for forgiveness; and more. In the night's second episode (9:30pm), "Top 5 Accused Killers 3," a look at some of the wildest courtroom moments across America, featuring accused killers, including: a 28 year-old man who killed his parents for no longer financially supporting him; a woman kills her husband in their bed; a man murders his wife, then calls it in to authorities; and more.

On Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 9-10pm ET/PT, A&E opened the eighth season of COURT CAM with back-to-back new episodes:
9pm: A courtroom brawl breaks out after the defendant attacks a court clerk; the judge chastises the grandfather of a defendant for annoying his courtroom staff; a defendant is caught breaking a no-contact order while still in court; and more.
9:30pm: A man charged with Driving with a Suspended License appears at his virtual hearing...driving a car; the judge comes down hard on a man accused of assaulting his baby's mother; a man accused of living on someone else's land stands defiant against the court; and more.
