Plot Synopsis

Each week, three creative crafters compete against each other in two elimination challenges, as they try to paint, glue and sew their way to the $10,000 cash prize. In the first challenge, the Pop Craft Challenge, contestants have one hour to create a useful, everyday object using a collection of featured supplies, along with anything else from the "Michaels Craft Closet," a wall of supplies sponsored by Michaels Stores. After the buzzer sounds, the three expert judges rate each creation and send one crafter home. The remaining two contestants compete against each other in the Master Craft Challenge, for which they are given five hours and a full team of people to complete a spectacular project, like building a playhouse using everyday school supplies. Once again, the judges comment on each competitor's creation and pick one DIYer to receive the $10,000 cash prize. Celebrity crafter Tori Spelling is an executive producer and the show's host, who advises, encourages and critiques the contestants during the competition. In addition, the series has a panel of expert judges that includes: Stephen Brown -- the author, entrepreneur and founder of the multi-million dollar giftware company, Glitterville Studios -- whose one-of-a-kind designs are described as "wondrously wacky" and are sold across the globe in a variety of high-end retailers; Erica Domesek -- the founder and CEO of the innovative DIY company P.S.-I made this -- who is the author of the book "P.S.-I made this" and whose designs and projects are featured in top fashion and lifestyle magazines; and Jo Pearson -- an author, host, and creative expert for Michaels, North America's largest arts and crafts retailer, for the past 25 years -- whose crafts have been seen by millions of people around the world. This program is produced by the same company that developed CUPCAKE WARS and HALLOWEEN WARS.
