Plot Synopsis

Based on James Patterson's "Alex Cross" novels, CROSS is a one-hour drama series that follows detective and forensic psychologist Alex Cross, who is uniquely capable of digging into the psyches of killers and their victims, in order to identify -- and ultimately capture -- the murderers. But this brilliant homicide detective has personal struggles that threaten to derail his career and life.

All eight Season 1 episodes dropped on Thursday, November 14, 2024 on Prime Video. The story opens in Washington, D.C., where Detective Alex Cross is called to solve a case where a Black Lives Matter activist is killed in cold blood. Emir Goodspeed's murder spreads like wildfire through D.C., catching others in its burn. Cross soon raids a home connected to Emir's murder, but the suspect escapes, leaving behind a unique piece of evidence -- so unique, it limits the list of suspects to an elite D.C. few.

CROSS has been renewed for a second season.
