Plot Synopsis

Created by Paik Jong-won and Anh Sung-jae, CULINARY CLASS WARS is an elimination competition series that features 100 people from all walks of life who embark on a fierce culinary showdown. But it's a class war among the 100 cooks, in which 80 hidden masters ("Black Spoon" cooks) challenge the 20 star chefs ("White Spoon" cooks), compete to be the best in Korea. The competition is helmed and judged by restauranteur Paik Jong-won and chef Anh Sung-jae of the three-starred Mosu Seoul restaurant. The series begins with 80 cooks entering the kitchen, where they promptly prepare their best dishes to impress the judges and win a spot to compete with the White Spoon chefs. CULINARY CLASS WARS premiered on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 on Netflix, which released the first four episodes.
