Plot Synopsis

Each weeknight (Mon-Thu) for 30 minutes, host Trevor Noah looks at the day's top headlines through his unique comedic lens. Along with the help of The Best F#@king News Team Ever, Noah covers the biggest news stories in politics, pop culture and more, while inviting one guest for an in-studio interview. Noah added three new correspondents -- Ronny Chieng, Desi Lydic and Roy Wood Jr. -- to this group, which continued with THE DAILY SHOW: Jordan Klepper, Hasan Minhaj, Jessica Williams, Lewis Black, John Hodgman, Al Madrigal, Aasif Mandvi and Kristen Schaal. Comedian Kevin Hart was Noah's first guest, and the rest of the inaugural week featured: Whitney Wolfe, founder and CEO of Bumble (Sep. 29); Governor Chris Christie (R-NJ), Republican Presidential Candidate (Sep. 30); and musician Ryan Adams, the show's first musical guest (Oct. 1). THE DAILY SHOW WITH TREVOR NOAH premiered on Monday, September 28, 2015 at 11pm ET/PT on Comedy Central, with a simulcast on 10 other Viacom Networks including BET, Centric, CMT, Logo, MTV, MTV2, Spike, TV Land, VH1 and VH1 Classic.

THE DAILY SHOW WITH TREVOR NOAH returned for a new season on Monday, September 13, 2021 at 11pm ET/PT on Comedy Central, marking the seventh season for the series and the 27th season of THE DAILY SHOW franchise.
On Thursday, December 8, 2022 at 11pm ET/PT, Comedy Central premiered the final episode of THE DAILY SHOW WITH TREVOR NOAH.

THE DAILY SHOW will return in mid January 2023, featuring a slate of celebrity hosts -- like Chelsea Handler, Sarah Silverman, and Kal Penn -- until a full-time successor is found.
