Plot Synopsis

Created and executive produced by showrunner Matt Fernandes, DANIEL SPELLBOUND is an animated kids series set in modern day New York City, where magic is real -- it's just hidden from the public. But Daniel Spellbound knows just where to find it. Making his living "tracking" hard to find magical objects, Daniel catches the attention of the wrong people when he discovers a rare artifact and suddenly the fate of magical world hangs in the balance. The story opens with Daniel agreeing to settle his debt with the evil Pie Maker by tracking a rare magical item: the Fugu Rose. But not without the help of a talking pig named Hoagie. During an unexpected visit to the Bureau of Magical Enforcement, the Primus offers to help Daniel out of his deal with Pie Maker -- for a price. Then, Daniel's on the hunt for a Boatman Token, which may bring him one step closer to the Gryphon's Egg... if he can find the right item to trade for it. The entire 10-episode first season of DANIEL SPELLBOUND dropped on Thursday, October 27, 2022 on Netflix.

The sophomore season of DANIEL SPELLBOUND debuted on Thursday, January 26, 2023 on Netflix, as the streaming service released all 10 episodes of Season 2. Daniel teams up with a legendary tracker to help him reverse a demonic curse and restart an age of magic that has mysterious ties to Daniel's family. In the season opener, "Swing Batter Batter," to rejoin the Trackers' Guild, Daniel needs an Untrackable -- and his new friend Shak knows exactly where to find one.
