DARK MATTERS: EXTRA TWISTED takes stories from Season 2 of DARK MATTERS: TWISTED BUT TRUE, and delivers deeper insight and new information on three tales in each one-hour episode. DARK MATTERS: TWISTED BUT TRUE profiled strange science and exposed history's most bizarre experiments by using cutting-edge CGI recreations of the pivotal moments when brilliant minds faced controversy or ethical crossroads on the fringes of science. EXTRA TWISTED featured these stories: Lindbergh's attempt to live forever; a song that makes you commit suicide; an unhealed wound used as a window to the inner human body; the invention of lobotomy; the cure for voodoo; illusion of human kindness; and many more unethical, scientific experiments.
